RECONVERGE Academy Internships
Summer 2023 (Mercyhurst University)

It seems you’ve been invited to apply for a RECONVERGE Academy Internship in 2023! How exciting!?! Applications are open until April 24, so hit the APPLY NOW button to fill out the short application form below and we’ll add you to the list of interested students.

The next step will be an interview with our Elite Technical Operator program leaders and, if selected, you’ll begin Phase One of your internship on May 15, Phase Two will begin June 19 and Phase Three will begin July 17. The RECONVERGE Academy Internship will conclude August 11.
RECONVERGE Academy tracks for Mercyhurst University students this summer will be with our Applied Superiority program.
DARQ Technology
The Academy for DARQ Technology is focused on the four general platform technologies we’re investing in to discover, optimize and simulate strategic, market and competitive intelligence analytics for stakeholders.
Applied Superiority
The Academy for Applied Superiority uses the methods and doctrine we’ve developed since 1995 in applying intelligence analytics to business results and problems.

Together the two Academy programs team-up students at our RECONVERGE Network university partner institutions to explore, prototype, perfect and commercialize novel and disruptive intelligence doctrine and tradecraft for the business world.

If this sounds like a cool way to spend your summer, learn more about the ideas you’ll be exposed to in the video below, prepared as a preview for our DEMOlition program startup teams to get themselves ready for their strategic, market and competitive intelligence workshops.

This will help familiarize you with much of the nomenclature and concepts you’ll be applying throughout the internship timetable.

RECONVERGE is the learning business of Aurora WDC and is integral to our FirstLight technology business as well as Aurora GPS, the global professional services division. Our product development roadmap consists of three (3) stackable horizons for continuous development:

  1. Feeds-to-Findings Curation with LAMP-based Enterprise Portals
  2. Subject Matter Expertise (SME) Graphing to Train Machine Algorithms
  3. Pseudonymous Collaboration between SMEs to Forecast Business Landscape Evolution

Summer 2023 interns will experience all three of these horizons between May 15 and August 11 in three ~30-day phases. Applied Superiority team interns will focus on honing their skillsets across the Discovery phase of the Insights-to-Action Supercycle. DARQ Tech team interns will build the toolsets that analysts use to synthesize intelligence indicators and warnings into deliverables for executive stakeholders. The output of your work will be published on the open Internet and made shareable via Aurora WDC’s social networks.

The two internship teams will work together across Aurora’s Elite Technical Operator (ETO) Program supervised by managers experienced in each of the two academy domains. Internships are paid US$ 1,000/month for a total summer internship fee of US$ 3,000. Bonus payments are also possible based on performance of work products.
