Welcome! Applications are now open until March 1st for the RECONVERGE Academy Internship in 2024, so hit the APPLY NOW button to fill out the short application form below and we’ll add you to the list of interested students. The selected students for the internship will receive notification on March 15th.
The next step will be an interview with our Elite Technical Operator program leaders and, if selected, you’ll begin your internship on May 10. The RECONVERGE Academy Internship will conclude August 23.
RECONVERGE Academy tracks for CUW students this summer will be with our DARQ Technology program. DARQ is the abbreviation for Distributed Ledger (D), Artificial Intelligence (A), Mixed Reality (R) and Quantum Computing (Q).
Together the two Academy programs team-up students at our RECONVERGE Network university partner institutions to explore, prototype, perfect and commercialize novel and disruptive intelligence doctrine and tradecraft for the business world.
If this sounds like a cool way to spend your summer, learn more about the ideas you’ll be exposed to in the video below, prepared as a preview for our DEMOlition program startup teams to get themselves ready for their strategic, market and competitive intelligence workshops.
This will help familiarize you with much of the nomenclature and concepts you’ll be applying throughout the internship timetable.
RECONVERGE is the learning business of Aurora WDC and is integral to our FirstLight technology business as well as Aurora GPS, the global professional services division. Our product development roadmap consists of three (3) prongs for continuous development:
- Humint Phase
- ML Phase
- AI Phase
Summer 2024 interns will experience all three of these prongs between May 10 and August 23 in three ~30-day phases. The Applied Superiority team will hone their analyst skills through practical examinations of the stakeholders, issues, and trends of an emerging landscape to highlight what actions can be taken now to exploit current and future events. DARQ Tech team interns will foucs on optimizing the AI/ML tools. The output of your work will be published on the open Internet and made shareable via Aurora WDC’s social networks.
The two internship teams will work together across Aurora’s Elite Technical Operator (ETO) Program supervised by managers experienced in each of the two academy domains. Compensation will be provided for the internship. RECONVERGE Interns can expect their output to intensify monthly during each of the phases. Mission outlines for program phases include:
